MOI Traffic Violation Check by plate number
If you don’t want to install an app and check it quickly, then this method is for you. Just go to MOI Portal and check the status of your tickets. Follow these instructions to check:
- Visit the official website of the Qatar Ministry of Interior.
- You will find a section named “Inquiries” on the website homepage.
- Go to this section, then find the traffic violation page.
- On the traffic violation page, you can submit your details and get the status of your ticket.
- You can check by entering your vehicle number, ID number, company ID number, and foreign vehicle details.
- After entering these details, you will get the following details in this format: description, time, date, and location of the violation.
- Now click on “Settlement of Violations” and enter your card details to make the payment.
- After paying the fine, your ticket will be removed from the portal.
Thus, MOI Traffic Violation Check by plate number is the very easy method of checking fines.

Click on traffic inquiries.
Click on traffic violation.

Viewing Your Traffic Violations
After successful login and accessing the traffic violations portal, the system will display a clear overview of any outstanding violations associated with your vehicle’s plate number. You will receive all the information in a table format, including these:
- Type of Violation: This shows the reason behind your ticket, such as speeding, neglecting to wear a seatbelt or improper parking.
- Date and Time: This indicates when the violation occurred.
- Location: This might display the specific location where the violation took place.
- Fine Amount: This is the penalty for the offense, letting you know the amount of the violation.
- Status: This indicates the current status of the ticket, whether it’s pending payment, overdue, or already settled.
Metrash 2 APP
This is the second method by which you can check all the details easily. The Metrash 2 app is easily available to download from the Google Play Store or from the Apple Store if you are an iOS user. Both the website and app interfaces are almost identical. Follow these given instructions to pay your fine through this app:
- After downloading, create your account and open the app.
- Then, on the homepage, click on “Traffic.” This will take you to the violation service page.
- Then select Query/Traffic Violations.
- Now enter details like your vehicle plate number or ID number and press enter.
- All details related to tickets against you will appear on the screen.
- Then, pay the fine through the app by entering your card details.
Note: If there is no ticket against your vehicle, Istimara (the expiration date of your vehicle registration card) will be shown on your screen.
